230 rokov od kanonického ustanovenia mukačevského biskupstva

One of the most important milestones in the history of Mukačevo eparchy was its canonical founding. It happened on 19 September 1771 by the bula of Pope Clement XIV „Eximia regalium”. The bishops from the area of Slovakia, mainly Michal Manuel Olšavský, Ján Bradáč and Andrej Bačinský from Ljager Roman-Catholic diocese, strived veny much for the independence of Mukačevo. That is how they created suitable conditions for the development of eparchy and the time of the last bishop mentioned is called „golden era” in its history.
