The author of the works about moral theology tried mainly to strengthen the Divine truths in the hearts of the people at the time. They are based on the never changing principles of the Ten Commandments, which stay obligatory in spite of the negative experience of the people from the war. With his legal works the author contributed considerably to more precise definitions of legal terms. Many of his suggestions pa­sses into the after-Council legal regulations for the Latin and Byzantine rites.
